All pieces are handmade (and imperfect;) but that’s the point… They are all unique.
The Raku process is not predictable, and you never know how it will turn out! That is part of it’s mystery and charm. Raku involves fire and smoke. The back of most pieces is black from the smoke, and sometimes you might catch a wisp of smoky scent when it is new.
This also applies to how the lace and plants interact with the glaze. The impressions create a cavity that can create depth and contrast to each piece.
The dimensions are in regards to the ceramic art itself; the hanging part/wall mount is not included.
